A concept scheme is a vocabulary, thesaurus, or ontology of concepts, that is carefully reviewed and curated. Terms on this platform may be defined outside of a concept scheme, but ideally most terms should ultimately be curated in one or several schemes.
This class shows all Concept schemes (i.e. SKOS concepts schemes using Template: Concept scheme/
Form: Concept scheme) on the GBIF terminology platform.
Class:Concept scheme is the same as skos:ConceptScheme (Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS)).
