Template:XPathSegments

This template creates links to all segments (i.e. ancestors) of an element based on its XPath. The different XPath segments have to be given as individual parameters of the template.
First parameter is the prefix for the links, it is optional.
A maximum of 19 segments can be displayed using this template, but it can easily be extended if the need arises
Usage
{{XPathSegments|abcd2:|/DataSets|/DataSet|/Units|/Unit}}
will create
XPath Segments: /DataSets /DataSet /Units /Unit
