Verbatim Longitude: The verbatim original longitude of the Location. The coordinate ellipsoid, geodeticDatum, or full Spatial Reference System (SRS) for these coordinates should be stored in verbatimSRS and the coordinate system should be stored in verbatimCoordinateSystem.

Notes: verbatimLatitude and verbatimLongitude are meant to capture the original coordinates for the Location in their original format. If possible, these coordinates should also be translated into the combination of decimalLatitude, decimalLongitude, geodeticDatum, and coordinateUncertaintyInMeters, but only if you really know what you are doing - coordinate transformations can be challenging. Use these two verbatim fields to capture coordinates in systems such as UTM, providing the spatial reference system for them in the verbatimSRS. If the original spatial information is an area (for example, a grid cell or a protected area polygon), use the footprintWKT and the footprintSRS to capture the complete area information.

See dcterms:Location for further discussion of verbatim coordinate terms.

Example(s): "121d 10' 34" W"

Translations

Español (Spanish)
Longitud Original: La longitud original textual de la Ubicación. El elipsoide de coordinadas, Datum Geodésico o el Sistema de Referencia Espacial completo (SRS) para estas coordenadas debería ser almacenado en SRS Original y el sistema de coordenadas debería ser almacenado en Sistema Original de Coordenadas.
Ejemplo: "121d 10' 34" W"
中文(简体)‎ (Simplified Chinese)
逐字经度: 逐字表述的地点的原始经度。椭球坐标,大地基准,或者这些坐标完整的空间参考系统(SRS)应该存放在“逐字空间参考系统”,坐标系统应该存放在“逐字坐标系统”。
日本語 (Japanese)
Verbatim Longitude: 場所に関する逐語的な経度。楕円体、経緯度原点、空間参照システムによる座標はverbatimSRSおよび座標システムはverbatimCoordinateSystemに保存されるべきである。
