Gathering-Aspect (also /DataSets/DataSet/Units/Unit/Gathering/Aspect): The facing direction (aspect) of the entire gathering site or a sample point.

This is measured in either letters (e.g. NE, SW) or Degrees (e.g. 270).

This information is of particular interest in relation to exposure and incident sunlight.
