Tom Hazekamp obtained his MSc. at the Agricultural University Wageningen, The Netherlands. Worked for the Center for Genetic Resources, The Netherlands (1987-1991) and the International Plant Genetic Resources Institute (1992-2000) in the area of plant genetic resources documentation. Currently works as free-lance consultant focussing on agro-biodiversity informatics related topics.
