This is the description of a vocabulary term from the DarwinCore vocabulary, http://rs.tdwg.org/dwc/terms/. This term is imported from dwc:basisOfRecord and has type String.
Description
- Label: Basis of record
- Definition: The specific nature of the data record - a subtype of the dcterms:type. Recommended best practice is to use a controlled vocabulary such as the Darwin Core Type Vocabulary (http://rs.tdwg.org/dwc/terms/type-vocabulary/index.htm).
- Example: "PreservedSpecimen", "FossilSpecimen", "LivingSpecimen", "HumanObservation", "MachineObservation"
