Dag Endresen, GBIF Knowledge Systems Engineer (KSE). Prior to joining GBIF in August 2011 Dag was working with plant genetic resources for food and agriculture (PGRFA). This work included the use of standard vocabularies in this thematic community. Dag was the head of the documentation department at the Nordic Gene Bank (NGB, reorganized in 2008 as Nordic Genetic Resources Center [NordGen]) and as a visiting scientist at Bioversity International (CGIAR). Dag represented NGB/NordGen as the GBIF Node manager from 2004 to 2010 and as the GBIF Node committee vice chair from 2006 to 2010. Dag has a PhD in Agro-ecology and predictive modeling of crop traits from Copenhagen University, Faculty of Life Sciences.

From 1999 to 2011 I was working with documentation of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture (PGRFA) at the Nordic Gene Bank (NGB, reorganized in 2008 as Nordic Genetic Resources Center [NordGen]) and as a visiting scientist at Bioversity International (CGIAR) in 2005 and 2006.
